FAZ11 bottom film feed unit. High-capacity Jumbo film rolls let the machine run up to four times longer between film changes, minimising changeover effort and reducing downtime.

Film unwinding is regulated by a motor drive and a film brake. The air-operated tension arm suits soft films, paper and rigid films, for rolls up to Ø 1000 mm.

The unit requires a mounting shaft fitted into the film roll beforehand; using several shafts further shortens the downtime during a change. A shaft for a 6-inch core is included. The price covers the control-software (IPC) changes that enable switching of the film feed unit.
